Cast Iron Filter Plate
Cast iron filter plate is a core component used in filtering equipment (such as plate and frame filter press, cast iron filter press, or chamber filter press). As the name implies, it is made of high-strength cast iron material and is molded in one step. It has high strength, and corrosion resistance, and is non-toxic and odorless. Because of its strong and durable material, it is widely used in solid-liquid separation processes in chemical, mining, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, and other industries.
Features of Cast Iron Filter Plate
Strong material: Cast iron has good mechanical strength and can withstand high filtration pressure. It is suitable for processing materials with high solid content or high viscosity.
High-temperature resistance: Cast iron filter plates can work in high-temperature environments and are suitable for filtration processes that require steam or hot water.
Corrosion resistance (special cases): The surface-treated cast iron filter plate has corrosion resistance to some chemical media, but is not suitable for strong acid or strong alkali environments. Appropriate materials need to be selected according to process requirements.
High-precision filtration: The surface of the cast iron filter plate is finely processed and can be closely matched with the filter cloth to reduce leakage and improve filtration efficiency.
